Our parents’ generation was very happy to save in the bank because interest rates were very high back then and they knew their money was safe. There are many different kinds of investments, so there is something for everyone, no matter how much money they have. Financial literacy should be a required part of schooling (but that’s a topic for another day), and even college students can now invest in the market through SIP into mutual funds.
